PROOFREADING: WHY IT MATTERS

-
Bad grammar looks unprofessional
-
Typos may be confusing and even embarrassing
-
Punctuation can change the meaning of a sentence
-
A small mistake may make a big difference to clients
-
The wrong tone can sound too formal or too casual for your audience and the context.

THE MAN WITH A MESSAGE

A man sat down to write his first book. He put his heart and soul into sharing his thoughts on an important subject that meant the world to him.
At last it was done! It might not be perfect, but he felt it was good enough. Pretty good, in fact. So he decided to self-publish his book without getting it professionally checked.
Later he came to regret his haste. The many errors undermined his authority and weakened the message he so desperately wanted to share.
Sometimes 'good enough' isn't good enough at all.
